Michael thoroughly enjoyed brainstorming baby names with me. In fact, he came up with a very unique one and decided to tell his whole side of the family that we had decided on the name. 6 months into the pregnancy, when we showed up to the baby shower in California, his cousin Trisha came up to me and said with shock and dismay, "Oh Jesy, I'm so sorry... We thought you spelled the baby's name as just "S-P-O-O-N"! We didn't know you spelled it with an "e"! I turned to notice all the decorations around the room and all the baby presents addressed to Spoon Daniels! Yes, he wanted to name this darling little child, Spoone!
